Driving in the night before your Fort Lauderdale cruise? A park-and-cruise hotel bundles a room, parking for your sailing, and a terminal shuttle. Portside is also building reserved parking here, so join the waitlist.
A park-and-cruise (or park-and-stay) package is one night at a Fort Lauderdale-area hotel plus parking for the length of your cruise and a shuttle to the terminal. It suits cruisers coming from Hollywood, Plantation, Pompano Beach and Pembroke Pines and farther who would rather drive in the day before than risk embarkation-morning traffic. Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale is one of the world's busiest cruise ports, and a huge share of its guests drive in from South and Central Florida.
Confirm how many days of parking the package includes (you are billed for each day your car is parked, counting the day you return and every day at sea, so a 7-night sailing is typically 8 days), whether the shuttle runs on your return morning, and the total price versus booking a room and a reserved lot separately. For many cruisers a dedicated reserved lot is cheaper if they do not need the extra night.
Portside is not at Port Everglades yet. Joining is free, and it is how we decide where to open next. If your cruise is 90 or more days out, that gives us the runway to secure a lot near the terminal and hold a spot for you before you sail.
Portside is live at Port Canaveral now: $14.95 a day, free shuttle, guaranteed reservation.
Reserve Port Canaveral parkingYes. Several Fort Lauderdale-area hotels offer a park-and-cruise package: one night's stay plus parking for the length of your cruise and a shuttle to the terminal. It is popular with cruisers driving in the day before. Portside is building a dedicated reserved-parking option here too; join the waitlist.
It depends on the hotel and your cruise length. A park-and-stay package bundles a room you may want anyway with your parking; a dedicated reserved lot is usually the cheaper choice if you do not need the room. You are billed for each day your car is parked, counting the day you return and every day at sea, so a 7-night sailing is typically 8 days.
From $14.95 a day, free shuttle straight to your terminal, no hidden fees.
